Good day to you all. I'm Thomas Hales aka Sentient Code. Born 8th December 1993, I am a music producer, although I'm also a multitalented artist since I also do visual art and eventually literature.
While having quite a dynamic music taste over the years, ranging from stuff such as Alternate Rock & Rap to Gabber & Breakbeat, I started out as a horrorcore rap artist, writing my own lyrics. However, overtime switched over to Drum and Bass in 2009 since I felt rap wasn't my forte. My original influence on me to take the step into Dark Drum and Bass began when I discovered Fanu and Paradox's Dark Drumfunk tracks in 2008. Since then I have expanded greatly and I am now a producer of the following styles:
-Dark DnB
-Hard DnB
-Minimal DnB
-Halfstep
-Militarystep
-Core and Bass/Crossbreed
-Hardcore
-Experimental
-Dubcore
I aim to portray my political views, religious views etc. and thoughts on various personal topic through these styles, with a range of unique styles that only reflect what I believe, my feelings and other things such as this. This is often strongly notable in my works, and each track, each image and each piece of literature I create will usually include such elements.
Furthermore, I do like to experiment with ideas, thus I will stress this philosophical quote from Ghost In the Shell as an important thing to think about:
"All things change in a dynamic environment. Your effort to remain what you are is what limits you." - Puppermaster from Ghost in the Shell (1995)
